If you have been before , you will know that anything goes.
By that i mean:Eeek: anything. :Eek!:
A quick google will give you some ideas........
.
.
.
You dont have to splash out lots of cash and can make do with black clothing, back combed hair and a bit ( lot !) of makeup.
We went for quite a few years on the trot as a family and only dressed up once we started going with the funsters.:Rofl1:
You feel a bit boring if you dont , and wish you did. Thats what most folk say.
Its a laugh thats for sure.

Here are the funsters last spring goth meet. Hope the weather is as good this year.
Nothing worse than a soggy Goth :Rofl1:

We shall be arriving Friday morning but realise you cant get onsite until 5pm.
We are going for a wander around Whitby (in normal clothes ) for some nice fish and chips. mmmmmMagpie.:thumb:
No kids or dogs this year. Bring it on:Laughing:

Hi All,

With only 2 sleeps left, I've now been told by 3 different people 'don't go o'ver th'moours int van'.. by which I think they mean the A169 Pickering route, as they tell me there is a bad bend which should be avoided at all costs.

Can you let me know which way a 'vintage' van (I can stop calling her elderly now she's 25!) with no power steering and an even more 'vintage' driver is best going? Never been to Whitby either by car, bike or bus so have no clue what they are talking about.

Would I be better off going the long way round and entering from the other side - ie A174? (I think, just had a look at a very small map on AA thing).

Advice welcomed at this 12th hour...

Oh and by the way my other hair piece arrived so no Mrs Fester..

We went overt moor last November calling into the aidensfield arms( goathland) for a drink and a meal,as we will be doing again on Friday.and found no real trouble with the roads,as long as you keep an eye on the road in front of you you should have no problems,ie right gear/speed. So if anyone's in goathland Friday pm well see you there before we set of to Whitby for the 5 pm meet.:thumb:

Hi Gromit,

We are staying at the college in the first post of this thread, and yes, will be there Fri and Sat.

Thank god. We are saved.

I don't think the Movan Zone of Total Destruction extends as far as Whitby from St Helens. We can sleep in peace rather than in pieces.
