Whistle kettle silicon foldy type.

Sorry, didn't see gas kettle mentioned in OP post. We use the electric one when connected to mains and just the small saucepan from our Tefal stacking set for gas. Any way this is the electric one that has served us well for the past 7 years, never fallen over as it has a good wide base, may be useful information to someone.

Yep! I've got one similar to that, had it about 4yrs, nothing wrong with it apart from, it take ages to boil and, if you don't unplug it after it has turned itself off, about 15 minutes later, it will turn itself on again. :giggle: When I was tight for space in my VeeDub, I just used different sized saucepans, depending on if I needed a lot of water or little.

I have 2 different whistling kettles with folding handles. Non-collapsing types but they don't take up much room anyway.

The cheap one has a fairly loud whistle befitting its class. The more posh stainless steel one has a very polite and discreet whisper: I say, I appear to be boiling, would you mind turning off the gas please?

I don't think they do a silicone whistling kettle but you can get a small aluminium one.

I got one of those for the doblo, nice little kettle but a pain to hold whistle open and get water in when using bottled water, fine using a tap though.
Have now used our little folding/collapsible electric kettle in earnest We like a nice mug of tea or coffee, it just holds enough for 2, wouldn't have it anywhere near children or the infirm though, oops maybe need to get rid 😉

It/she/them is actually the Right Honourable Matilda Halfords-Smythe-Cholmondeley. Tilly for short. :giggle:
