Which Gas Pigtail Type for Morocco

That's the way they refill the propane bottles. all the rust and treacle deposits are emptied into your bottle.(y)

Half a dozen trip's to Morocco and never had an issue with the local gas suppliers 🙂

Lots of "guardian" car parks to be fair. Generally all secure and only 3 to 5 dirhams a night and some have emptying facilities.
Lol I never came across one that didn't demand 20 - 30 dirhams. Annoyed the life out of me.

This year I'm putting my own hi vis on and undercutting them 🤣

tbf its less than the price of a coffee in UK, I object less to giving it to a guy whose trying to make a living than to Costa's :giggle:

Bloody good wage though if they scam it from everyone parking in a free public carpark

Biggest problem that I had in Maroc was different brands in different areas that won't do exchanges for another. From memory there was a definite north/south problem.

We used any brand with local regulator on the bottle and fed into BBQ point. Used a lot over 3 months as it was bloody cold at night in the south.

We encountered this swapping problem just once and ended up buying another local bottle but at 45 dirhams ( around £4)for a 907 type small cylinder full of gas it's a no brainer. A 6kg bottle is only around 80 Dirhams and costs around 6 to 12 D to exchange for a full one.

We were going through 11kg ones at quite a rate with the underfloor on 10 hours a day.. Can't remember how much it was (2014) but the missus, who is a very careful soul when it comes to money mourned whenever we had to give one away empty.
