Which AUTO sat do most funsters use, and which receiver box ?

i wouldnt factor any residual value in to as four years time i may well be worthless after the 5g revolution
Try telling that to North \ West Coast Scotland residents who don't even get voice never mind 3g data reception as yet!

Good idea. I've an Oyster 85cm automatic dish for sale.
Lack of mobile signal up the West Coast (one of our favourite areas) was a main reason we stuck a Snipe on the motorhome. We've also got three different sims (3, EE and O2) to, hopefully, have contact with home. We still struggle in one or two areas though!

We use an 85cm Quicksat with twin lnb 2 Quicksat boxes (one in lounge one in bedroom) and get uk tv down to Gibralter on Intelsat907, but it gets Astra2 down to Narbonne area in France . Once we got used to set up its very good. Sometimes it does lockon very quickly and sometimes it takes a few minutes. And yes the drawback is the windstrength and bad weather

That's the "plus" we like about our Snipe. We had ours up during Ciara(? the one before Dennis). Having said that, it was nigh on side on to the wind direction.
