Where to take to teens during October half term??

Cinema, MacDonalds, shopping for clothes then leave them to chill on social media and put your feet up:giggle:(y)

Gina.

Brilliant campsite alongside which you cannot book, just turn up.

Mix the two interests together at Bletchley Park, the Science Museum, etc. Must be a site nearby the former and it's an easy train ride into London for the latter.

The Harry Potter Studio Tour is another option that should interest both.

Do you really think you can make up for not taking them to the Galapagos':rofl:
We’ve kinda got away with it with the younger 2 but the older ones are somewhat humphy…. However get this!!! We then offered to take all 4 of them (a 22 year old, a 19 year old, a 16 year old and a 12 year old) to Egypt for Half term. 3 of them refused because they wanted to go to Comic Con! Both of our jaws dropped and we’ve been determined since to not worry about taking them/not taking them!

best theme park weve been to better than disney

I have to agree with the suggestions for Oxford, obviously lots of history and lots of science history as well.
The campsite itself is pretty basic but fills a need. I intend going back someday.

where ever you take them they will moan. What about the New Forest? motor museum, Bucklers Hard, good food, nice pubs. They may be bored but you will have a ball.

This place is not too far from Oxford you can get the bus from outside the site. Has the advantage of being directly on the Thames with a bar/restaurant, cycling and village nearby.

Yes the stelplatz is still there across from the coach drop off point & main entrance.
I do prefer the campsite with its saloon bar & restaurant and log fires at the rear which you stand around and load yourself. Also has a few activities to keep the kids occupied.
