As anyone got recommendations for places to stop in Pembrokeshire please

The St Ishmael’s sports and social club have a new aire
That's quite pricey to basically park behind the social club, However it is great location, 100m away from the road, against a huge cricket field, and about 5 minutes walk onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The club is friendly and pretty cheap for a pint.

That’s harsh Conrad J I have stayed here for the last six years at least twice a year. I do not consider myself to be rid raf. But the site is basic but quiet and free and easy.

Sorry mate, no offence meant, it’s just that the land owner now has another field which is used for local mini-raves. Trefalen Farm owners are picky about who they let in, mostly families and quiet oldies. He patrols the National Trust car park next to his site, as overnight parking is not allowed there, and sends them up the road to Bucksfarm.

I've walked through on the coast path last June. Very small, mainly kids in T5s/etc, for the surfing/beach. I think there were maybe 15 vans, and some tents. I wouldn't want to take in anything much bigger than a T5. If you do go, and it's full, one bonus is that you could probably stop in the car park over the road.

IIRC, it's the only site within 10 miles or so of St. Davids that will let you turn up without a booking.

Very true. And another nice pub in Amroth a short walk away over the headland, (or along the beach at very low tides).

Or alternatively an easy level paved walk into Saundersfoot hugging the coast and through a number of old lit mining tunnels. (Once there, The Old Chemist's Inn in Saundersfoot is another friendly pub, but plenty more to choose too).

Enjoy your stay. The weather in Pembrokeshire is lovely at the moment, but forecast to break tomorrow unfortunately.
