Where have you positioned your emovis/liber-t/telepeage tag on your windscreen?

We have a 2012 Autotrail 632 Apache with a Luton style overhang above the windscreen. I’ve just received our E-movis telepeage tag for use at the toll booth on French motorways this summer. I don’t have a black mottled area on the windscreen behind where the rear view mirror should be. Assuming you have the same or a similar MoHo where have you sited the tag on the windscreen and actually proved that it works at a toll booth?

TIA!

Russ

You can see our tag holder/clip just in front of the mirror
It's worked perfectly there for two years

Just filled up with LPG at Morrisons at Ipswich !

Yep put mine in similar orientation and location. But on near side side of the mirror works a treat.

Hi we only had to speak to someone when the barrier wouldn't lift mine is only used for upto class 2 then you have to get them to let you through this only happens every 6 ish toll booths..how high is you van..?
The Tracker EKS we had was the same height as your Apache. As RustyRuss says place it where the old tax discs used to go. Drive to the truck barrier slowly and as you brake you'll hear the beep.

That's. For me nothing to do with positioning as it worked OK it was the height that stopped it lifting because it thought I was an hgv just something to take note of,,

If the barrier doesn’t pickup the signal from you tag you can open the barrier by showing it the barcode that is on the base of the tag.

There is a card/code reader screen thing. We had to do this in the past, and was told to do it by the very polite French lady, over the intercom thingy.

Hi it doesn't matter what you show ..the tag is set for. Class 2 max...if the barrier beam thinks your a class 3 it will not lift no matter what you show it...Then you have to pay it
