Where are all the Brits?

We spent last night (& tonight) in an aire/overnight stop in Roses at the top of Costa brava - with about 60 other vans & we are the only UK vehicle here. We only saw a handful going through France last week as well.
Where are you all?
It's our first trip to Europe btw but at least the sun has finally come out now

That was 6 weeks ago but we will try that next time we are there thanks.
We are in Portugal now on the Algarve & there are loads here!

What's the road to Cadaques like? I thought about doing a day trip there from Roses but it looked a bit tortuous on the map.

Well it’s one of those roads that takes coaches, trucks etc, so in theory no problem. There are some tight turns where the road narrows and you have to take half or more of the opposite side of the road to get round. You’ve usually got good visibility of what’s coming through the switchbacks, so can prepare, which you need to as the coaches and trucks take no prisoners. So yes a bit tortuous but quite doable. Parking in Cadaqués is very restricted so research where you can park your van.
