Where’s Movan

Had a whatsapp from Joy movan this morning ask to pass on to all :

Hi Mike, situation here gone worse. I changed FROM 02 last week and had paid until end December but they cut me off straight away.

I have been, and will be till end of year without a phone, texts, internet etc. HOWEVER I do have WATSAP text messages that come thru wen I walk past Morrisons or an internet cafe such as now, but therefore Im getting them late. PLEASE somehow let my lovely Funster friends...... Old and new.... know that I am thinking of them with soo much love and wishing them peace and contentment for the year ahead. They keep me going. (Perhaps copy and paste this message so far????). Thank you. Xxxxxx

Please WHEN you get this can u pm big 1 and say thank you. I consider him a friend and wish him love and peace in the coming year. Thank u.

Sorry to hear of your problems movan
Can you clarify what your data problems are ? I'm sure someone on here could help you out if it's techcy stuff.
It's rotten to be without means of contact especially at this time of year.
I'd happily send you a data sim if it would help you out 👍

It's her provider o2 getting it wrong I belive, and can only get free WiFi at various outlets
offered to send her 24gb data sim foc

Surely it won't take until the end of year for o2 to get their act together ?
She needs to lay it on a bit to them, 'vulnerable adult / sick relative / mental health' etc.

I thought similar, just re-read her msg to me was on o2 paid till end of Dec.
Looks like she changed providers?? But o2 cut her off early.

I had this with 3 in the past so will wait n see till I hear next.

Had a call from her today, noisy location her end. And I was a little busy.
But gist of she's climbing a sand dune at the mo but getting there slowly.
Will try calling tomorrow, and then post.

Now that threw me I thought brilliant she has managed to get away and get some warmth
Then I realise it was a reference to her struggles.
I've been her area this week and could not help but keep a lookout for her van
I am pleased that it appears not to be as cold as forecast in Somerset

Think she was in a cafe keeping warm over hot choc, but background noise her end and engineering my end....
 
I’m in regular contact with Joy and can advise she is doing ok. There is a lot going on for her at present with both house and family so is understandably pre-occupied with all that. Health wise she is ok especially now that the weather is better, and she now has her car with her so is getting out and about a bit.

Good to hear she is driving this means here eyesight must be better
One thing she no longer has to worry about
