Whats the oldest one you have seen ?

Very rare to see a pre mid 80s van in proper use.

Our 1975 VW Devon Camper on surfari in Brittany - we owned it for 7 years before buying the current MH.

The plate 92-14-XB is a Dutch plate and the letters XB denote the year it was build, although I do not know which year that was.

ah .. thank you.. I assumed it was French..

Dutch plates... 2 digits - 2 digits - 2 characters (1965 - 1973)

I have a 69 Commer Tourstar, due to be pressed back into service this year after extensive restoration.
I would be interested to see some photo's of that.

My dad had C reg (1965), I think, Commer 'caravanette' in the early 70's, can't remember the model but it had a pop top and it was blue.
Soon after we were married we toured Scotland with them, we slept in a tent......4 adults in one of those ....just a little too cosy.

I had a H reg Ford transit. Then a E reg Fiat. And now I have a 1990 Talbot Express. Which I have had from new. Still being used as much as possible .
