Rally What's happening at Malvern

There is only a few folk posting that we actually met on this trip. Why is this I wonder  Is it cos you couldn't be bothered coming out to mix, you saw us enjoying ourselves too much at the tent, or you are just 1 hit wonders that post very occasionally? Genuinely interested in replies.

Thanks Jim, Sian and the marshalls for making Malvern such a lovely meet.

Even if I didn’t cross anything off my shopping list, it was good to catch up with old friends.

Now at Pershore - with a stinking cold! Fear not Funsters, I did a lateral flow test today, which was negative, it is a cold and not Covid!

Thanks for a great and warm welcome to our first moho show with the funsters. including all the hard working marshalls etc. Despite Mick being nicknamed Grumpy Grandad by his adoring grandchildren, he proved that it must be the constant 'WHY grandad ' questions that make him grumpy! We have had a great weekend, met lots of lovely people and are looking forward to doing it all again at Lincoln! Also Mick now has the funster nickname of Santa-claus and maybe a red nose from 1.5 litres of Sherry he won in the raffle thanks Jim!

You are lucky Ger we have pitched up and now got a few vermin pulled on the site 🤬 we will see what happens in the morning if they stay we’re away !

Really sorry to hear that Steve.

Hope you have everything safely stored away, and they move off tomorrow. 🤞

A big thank you to Jim, Sian, the marshals & all the funsters we met for making us feel so welcome at our 1st big funster rally.
Hope you all had a good journey home & look forward to meeting up with you all soon.

I can only speak for myself but we had arranged to meet old friends so were with them for much of the time but we came and had tea/coffee twice and attended the cheese and wine evening and the draw for which I provided a prize of entertainment tickets for two. We spoke and engaged with anyone who we had eye contact with and had name badges and a sign in our van saying who we were. I reckon I post on here quite a lot. I know both Jim and Sian and spoke to both of them.

Please don't take this the wrong way but unfortunately your post is slightly antagonistic with "couldn't be bothered to come out and mix" etc so not encouraging to those who were perhaps new or not into the Fun tent evening extravaganzas. I imagine that not all wives of Funsters are into Fun in the same way as their other halves! Different people get their enjoyment in different ways. Don't try to force it or alienate those who are more reserved from future rallies and events!

Sandra that's a strange post, different people are doing different things at different times we didn't even get to meet everyone we known the only time I got to catch up with the lovley cliffandger Ger was when she was playing her yuk so never had a conversation, seen Mr Mousy on his bike but never got to see Mousy who I'd love to catch up with.
When I seen you , you were rushing back because of your bad back
There are no rights or wrongs on a fun meet everyone is there to enjoy themselves how they choose as Jim says.
To say people are one hit wonders is way of the mark especially for our new Funsters.

Police now here and being called racists by the vermin how suprising 🤣
I would love to go and teach them a bit of respect but I would be prosecuted 🤬

Thanks Jim, Sian and all of the marshalls for a great weekend. It was good to meet up again with Funsters not seen for a while and Malvern is the perfect venue, even if we didn't have a marquee.

I'm sorry if this came across as antagonistic or strange, it certainly wasn't meant to be. Perhaps as Carol said folk were doing their own thing since it was a large event. I guess I'm just used to smaller meets where theres no event going on and I meet more people so I do apologise.

What a great time, thank you to everyone who helped organise getting us in and out of the field and all of the events as well.
As well as familiar faces we met a few more Funsters so a big hello, hope you all get home safely

Thanks to everyone for their hard work.
Marshals, Jim and Sian and smiling friendly Funsters.

I always enjoy Malvern, although it felt strange to be among so many people again after so long in isolation. Our first large meet in 2 years!

Unfortunately I was feeling poorly so wasn’t able to socialise very much. Sorry I missed you Carol, hopefully our paths will cross again soon.

Thank you to the organisers and Marshall’s for making everyone welcome, tea and biscuits were very welcoming on arrival. Ive never been disappointed and a great time had with old friends and new ones. 🤗
