What's happened to summer?

I've already had my several weeks of summer was over 30° at night and the only way to sleep was with the Aircon on all night.
Nice to get back to UK weather patterns and a nice thick quilt at night.
Ask me after another week of rain and I might be changing my tune.

One of our sons messaged to say he’d had his best round of golf ever, 5th out of 200 players on Sunday in Edinburgh. He also said they’d had all 4 seasons on the weather front bar snow.

Last year...
This friday coming I was in Stratford with granddaughter and it was heavy rain
The weekend after is RIAT and that turned into a mud bath

Loads of stuff was cancelled last year because of the state of camping areas


I've already booked my tractor to put me on my pitch at RIAT this year

Sounds like the same year as we had the wet miserable time - in Cornwall and Devon

I’ve just come back from Cornwall last Friday, we only had one day out of 12 days that you could really say was a beach day apart from that it was mostly cloudy every day and even had rain on two days and the temperatures weren’t great.....just sayin
