A German guy has pitched up along side us and spent the last half-hour assembling this .

He's also got similar pipes trailing about inside.

Can't be air conditioning as it's only 10°C outside.

I hate to imagine the inside if it's packed full of solar panels and big boxes with heaters in.

That said the Germans do seem to carry a lot of shit around with them. There's a short wheel base sprinter parked near me in Greece and he has a ridiculous amount of stuff set up outside his camper ... even a tripod with a satellite dish on it that must be 4 ft in diameter. , but hes got chairs , a bike , a camp kitchen , a sort of awning type canopy that's not attached to the van , 2 spare wheels and a generator lying outside at the minute .

I've seen these on some sites in UK too. BTW, also seen em used used in sites where we get PERFECT freeview (even HD) reception. Clearly nuts. The chap was watching sky Sports in his defence, but so were we, using the 4g.

I've noticed quite a few German vans towing box trailers which seem to a bit of an Aladdin's cave, usually with some big motorbike as well.
And enough food usually that they could survive a nuclear fallout

Yep it's nuts .. I walked past it and the dish isn't collapsible either.

Where on earth do you store a 4ft tin disc in a small van?
