What you doing this Xmas... ?

Don't know yet. Maybe a quiet one at home with daughter, son & daughter in law; or a quick dash up to Liverpool with daughter on Christmas Eve after work to spend Christmas with Alan's mum & dad - all dependent on whether his mum has knee replacement op before Christmas.

We were to late to get in at Pedros

We were too late also so going to glam it up at Turiscampo or Yelloh as its now called at Lagos, leaving 3 rd December and booked in 10 th till 10 Feb.
Been a crap year for both of us with both having big surgery. All good now so looking forward to the future!!:notworthy2:

Son will be home from the Navy for Christmas Day so I will be cooking dinner for us plus our neighbour and his partner. Granddaughter will be coming round in the afternoon and we will then be opening presents with her. Then off to the New Year meet at Briarfields on the 30th December. It will be a hard Xmas for me this year as my sister passed away this summer and last year we knew it was her last Xmas and I cooked for about 16 people. Will be glad to see the back of this year to be honest and can't wait to ring in the New Year:)

Mum and dad coming for dinner then a quiet night in as I'm working at 5 on Boxing Day.

Just 6 of us for xmas day this year, used to be 14 of us 1976:Eeek:

Home alone too (or should that be "2"?), then New Year with our French club near Tours. Last year there were 160 camping cars, say 310 people, and that is about the capacity of the village hall. Fancy dress for the dinner and the subsequent dancing, onion soup served at 5.00 am and then lunch the following day with entertainment put on / arranged by the club committee.

We will be somewhere in Europe! First time not at home for Christmas so will be a bit strange as I love having the tree all lit up and guess it won't be travelling with us!

My self-assessment tax form :)

Actually, being Billy-No-Mates, that might be the highlight of my holiday

And probably working, because it's one of the few times during the year when I can shut down my clients' databases and do some updates without somebody complaining :(

Fly to Benidorm on Dec 9th for 3weeks, in an apartment for first time. Hope to visit campsites with a view to returning with motorhome later.

We'll be home welcoming the guests staying over the festive period; we all get together for a champagne/bucks fizz reception on Christmas Day, and a beer and bbq lunch on New Years Day. Our neighbours often join us for one or the other, so it makes for a good time. For the remaining time it is each to their own which seems to suit everyone.

When I was unfortunate enough to work for a living that was me too.:(

Seeing the Mum's on Christmas Eve/Day/Boxing Day, then setting off for France on 27th, a weeks skiing then who knows!

Four of the five children will be at home with their partners and children making 15 in all, plus 5 dogs. It will be hectic but FUN:)

Off to the daughters house in Shropshire, our son and his family are coming as well so there will be 10 of us plus 5 dogs. Taking the motorhome so we can get a good nights kip, hope to do plenty of eating and drinking.
