What wireless speaker for van?

My van stereo is wired to the leisure batteries so i just use that on Bluetooth with my phone or my tablet ...i have a couple of bluetooth speakers but i get better sound quality from the van stereo and speakers

I have a Roberts DAB radio that doubles up as a bluetooth or Aux speaker its the older version of this https://www.robertsradio.com/en-gb/radios/blutune-t2 and its sound quality is blooming great, I use it as DAB but as yourself if DAB signal is poor swop to iPhone or even a FLAC player
Somewhat similarly, I use a Tivoli Model One as a speaker, more than I use it as a radio. It's not portable but it runs off 12v. A really good table-top radio will be excellent as a speaker.

I would also vote for the Bose mini. They are expensive new but I got mine off Ebay in nearly new condition for almost half the price. There were lots for sale used when I was looking for one.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, I’d recommend the Apple HomePod - I’m using one in our MH, and the sound is amazing! It’s a tad expensive, but the newly announced HomePod Mini is more reasonably priced.

We have a Bose sound link, but normally use the Avtex soundbar that’s attached to the TV means one less item to take and it the music playback is good.

The speaker above won the what hi-fi awards... its very good with 6hrs + batt life

We have Neocore Wave A1. Waterproof, small, good sound with a strong clip to attach it to places like rucksack or bike bars. It is also rubberised so can bounce a little. It’s only 10w but that’s loud enough for beach or aire. And at around £20 it’s cheap enough for Archie our 8yo to use and abuse whilst he builds a den or riding his scooter. Have the 50w A4 for home. Both have ridiculously long battery life and are really robust. And a 2yr warranty.
Only problem is that these double as a phone speaker so the entire beach can here when my mother calls to make sure that I am using adequate protection whilst on holiday (from the sun obviously).
