Helen, it will not work with the new Urbaflux fitting as in post #8. Been there, tried, and got soaking wet.Take the rose off first. It's universal and guaranteed to fit every tap.
Home baseWhere did you get your male hose pipe end from as I can't find any online?
Thanks, but I have just been through all of the hose fittings on their website and no male to hose connector.Home base

Just stick a male/male into a female
Yup, that's what I do, but interested to see if there is actually a male to hose connector as I have never seen one.
We only pay for bottled water. The tank water is for washing and cleaning. So far I have never had to pay for tap water anywhere although always leave a donation if possible. If you're paying for water, why would you not fill up your tank, don't get it.

If you have Park4Night you can filter the free water/services locations. We hardly ever have to pay for water. If you're paying for water, why would you not fill up your tank, don't get it.
I must follow you around, I've got loads of different adaptors that I've found over the yearsI agree with the other posts except on one point. Don't just take one of each adaptor have at least 2 or 3 of each. I rarely have a trip across the channel where I don't leave at least one adaptor on a tap when I drive off. Just back from Spain and realised I had left my large thumbscrew adaptor for plain taps, which I have had for years, on a tap. I know exactly what tap, but that just makes it more annoying.

We are never desperate for water and we have all day to head in that direction - for the nights when we want a shower.I'm not going to spend money on diesel to travel to a site to save money on water.
I must have missed it - I thought you had to buy one from Homebase.Did you not see my reply in this post then?
I would take a selection as there are several types in France alone even if one type does most of them. You can always use a local hardware store if you cant pre-purchase them. You dont want to be without water. Can anyone tell me what kind of water hose adapter I need to carry travelling in France , Spain and Portugal ?
Thanks
