What type of Spider is this ?

A workmate of mine who was an ex guardsman brought in a display case with ,the biggest set of spiders I have ever seen ,he had picked them up in Belize when stationed there .I can safely say that all the visitors to our office jumped back when they spotted them on his desk . o_O

Yes they do come back but not found a way to see if they are the same ones??

Easy way to catch em is get a large glass and a post card put glass over spider and slide post card under glass pick it up and take outside as far away as you can and release it.?
The adjacent County would work. There's a useful plastic development of the card & glass device. It looks like a funnel on a stick with a plastic slide over the open end. In use it works the same as the card & glass but doesn't require any dexterity and you are further away from the fearsome beastie.

As kids we used to have spider races on the bed there were eight of us so as you can see there were loads of spiders around in our house, but we never killed them.
Great fun???

If ever we are on the same rally please may I ask your wife if I can borrow you? :(.

I can't go to sleep at night if there is one in my motorhome. :(

TeeMyob I think you are a brave soldier and have not received the sympathy you derve from this thread. :)
That sounds like an offer not to miss....:hot:

Whenever we have a spider in the house it becomes a pet, given full reign to go anywhere it likes. Sometimes distracts you from tele if it runs across the floor in front of you. The kids used to give them names when they were younger. >:) You did ask....

There is a big increase in false widow spiders in the UK with a nasty bite people have died or lost a limb after being bitten .
Spider webs have been used for hundreds of years on wounds.

There’s one spinning a web in my back garden
