For me...the sun is starting to make an appearance, birds are singing providing a feel good factor....we have the MH back from having the Aircon sorted..this will allow us to plan our next trip away...
Thinking positively I'm going to have a Good Friday...today isn't Black Friday because my credit card is still in my wallet...
What about you...are you planning to have a special day or just routine.?

No work the van is washed the ebike charged and I have an idea
It's been raining so I.m8ght just have a froffy coffee and allow the idea to grow a little

At the moment I’m trying to get over the thought that someone called Carlos Castro Martins allegedly on Facebook has told me I have placed an order for something that’s going to cost me a lot of money!
I’ve binned the email and blocked him!
My accounts are showing normal.

Thinking we should be away in the van. But minor hand surgery a month ago, that turned nasty has put paid to that.
A 2 hour operation 12 days ago means my hand now looks like it’s been under a zig zag sewing machine.
Can’t hold a knife let alone the steering wheel.
Got put back on antibiotics yesterday. So another day in self pity 😭

Just finished being sous chef to Mrs Colpot - cheese scones and carrot cake ready for this afternoon's tea party at my daughter's - 4 children plus partners, 6 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
I need a lie down just thinking about it

My baby is home for the weekend with his girlfriend so I can feed and fuss and he lets me. He’s only 28 after all. What more could a Mum want? When he goes it’s only 3 weeks until my eldest is home from Panama for just over 3 weeks. Bliss.

Done my morning workout. Breakfast.
Batch cooking curry.
Couple of hours work.
Probably then go to the midday Good Friday church service in town.
Then a visit to a localish garden centre.
Couple more hours work.
Could do with spending some time tidying up the garden but that will probably be Sunday pm.

The sun is shining up here in the NW Highlands. Our (just) 80 year old neighbour is popping round to help reduce the height of our vigorous bay tree which is caught up in the internet wires. I’ll bake some bread rolls and we’ll go for a walk along the loch.

Sun, what is sun?

Got my greenhouse frame re-sited on its new slab base yesterday and was gonna nip to the glazier today for 3 sheets of glass, that's the problem with being an atheist and retired, weekends and weekdays just drift into each other and you forget how religion can bugger up your day too !

I am still 'humping' - see

Traditionally it’s a big football day. So I’m off to see the clash of the Wanderers as the original Wanderers from Bolton take on the imposters from Wycombe.
Original Wanderers?
The original Wanderers won the FA Cup in 1872, 2 years before the imposters from Bolton were formed....;)
