What Laptop? Help needed please.

mmmm i have been using lenova for around 8 years and have never had a problem with anything on them the fact they used to be ibm is a + in my view but samsung are still a good lappy

I used to like IBM/Lenovos but their build quality has deteriorated lately and then there's the 'white band' screen issue. :thumbdown:

That's what she wanted, but at £1500 it was out of her price range.:Sad:

Just had a look at one, the spec apart from the processor seems inferior to the Dell she's bought? 4gig ram against 6 on the dell and hard drive 500gb against 1tb for the Dell, 512mb video memory against 2gig on the Dell.

Update: Dell can't now deliver till the end of May! So we have cancelled the order and bought the Lenovo from Xan's link. http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Lenovo_Ideapad_Y570_1359207.html
