What headlights (2 Viewers)

Can anyone say what BMW the headlights on my Euramobile are from I think they are from https://www.sparepartstore24.co.uk/bmw-spares/5-touring-e39/14427/10533/headlight-insert I was told some years ago but lost the info.

Yes received advisory on mot and height adjustment gone

If you want to clean them up, try some K2 Lamp Cleaner on them with a buffer sponge on a drill. I also had to replace the height adjustment motor on mine below. Motor should be accessible to replace.

Could the alignment be out/distorted because of the surface degradation? Would be worth cleaning one up to find out.

I’ve tried cutting compound but found it only helped a bit probably need very fine sand paper as you can feel some crazing

Height adjustment is not obligatory on motorhomes & should not fail mot because they are not working. As long as they are set right for the test.

If you don't have a buff polisher with sponge pad, use wet and dry then compound and then polish by hand with lots of Elbow grease.

Hiya. I replaced the headlights on my 2004 euramobil 810 and they are Series 5 BMW. I got some aftermarket ones off ebay tht have LED indicators and have a lever for flat dipping..
I'm not at home right now, but can dig out my order to give you the full lowdown when I get home...

Plastic headlights have an anti UV filter to protect the plastic. With age this deteriorates to a yellow haze. Can be polished out but will then fades quickly as no UV filter. I have heard one can apply a UV proof varnish but have never found any. I polished a car headlight once to get through MOT but yellowed again by next MOT.

There were loads of these aftermarket ones at the time, but seem to be few now on Ebay

A quick google search though and there a some. These look like mine...
