Not a risk I’d contemplate

Trust me you want to store it or secure it whilst travelling, we have a small panel above our fridge (attached with velcro by Carthago so you can access the cables behind it), but it decided to make a bid for freedom and put a lovely dint in the washroom door!

Had an external "Rejuvanation" and "headlight resoration" done by Motorhome Valet, in Swindon.

Quite a transformation, and I feel it looks good for a 15 year old van. The headlights were orange, and so cloudy you could hardly see the bulbs.

These two show the side panel half done (the rear half), and then the finished job - you can clearly see the line.

We are doing a trade stand so you have to be there on the Thursday. Which meant sending a detailed email to my son's school outlining the maths and English involved to get him excused for a day.

Been washing the MH on and off all day working one side/end at a time and moving out of the sun, decided to give the canopy a decent wash while it’s hot enough to dry it fully

Yes, that included the roof. He posts before-and-after photos on his Facebook page. This is one he did last week. (Mine wasn't that bad!)

Replaced the gearbox on our Omnistor awning. Worried it would turn out to be more than the 10 mins predicted. It was but all done in 30mins, nice and smooth in and out now…..

Put a new hab door flyscreen assembly into our 2014 Autotrail so if anyone wants the old one to restring and use/sell they can have it.
We are near Bungay on the Norfolk Suffolk border.

I got in the van on Monday wouldn't start, after a conversation with 2 mechanics on my description of the symptoms they both condemned the starter motor so I fitted a new one. There was no change, spent the best part of an hour and a half checking everything load testing the battery etc then tested the voltage at the starter no volts to speak of clamped my jump lead to the engine block then to the battery neg started the first time mechanics if they can't plug it in there b*ggered oh and changing his name to Hissy as in Hissy fit as it throws on at least 4 time a year

Made a raised floor section in the rear garage of my Adria Compact Supreme to store my wife's 6ft4inch surfboard so it's safe and easily accessible.
