What European motorhomes have a black tank

Only once while weve been out this trip have we stopped anywhere with a ground level drain for black waste. I would imagine they take some finding, unless people are dumping black waste in the grey waste drain which could be unpleasant
it depends where you are really. On our trip around France and northern Spain most of the places would have been fine and don't forget that you would be emptying it less often.

I tend to agree Jon, on our last trip I have been looking out for black dumping points (just in case;)) and opportunity seemed to be plentiful OK The had nothing so that would be a plus point for a black tank after that I think everywhere we stopped had ground level.

We have no problems finding drains. We travel for six months in the year so we’d be very inconvenienced if that weren’t the case.

The black and grey go down the same drain unless there’s a specific notice to say otherwise.

Our Carthago S plus has a black tank 140 litres we can select the thetford cassette or the black waste when we flush. If the thetford gets too full it just sucks it all through to the black tank.

Abroad the common aire service point is low enough to the ground that I can easily use that, I also carry a macerator which pumps around 50m through a 1" hose that I carry, so like others never had a problem.

I would like to downsize to under 7.5t just so sometimes the wife could do a bit of the driving.

We are 6.7 ton with island bed and a big garage.
But you might not like Carthago.

Probably the price I wouldn't like. :D
I don't want to go over £80,000

I have a steel poo stick papa, when I have to use it which is only if we are on a site for more than a few days, I just clean it with an antiseptic wipe and put it back behind the toilet.

More curries needed for self leveling waste, along with more beer to help the process

So you empty your black tank into the same pipe as the grey waste glues?

The tanks are separate and they each have a separate valve and lever. There’s three valves black, grey and one in case you want to drop your fresh water. So black first followed by grey. It’s not strictly necessary unless using the hoses. We have a short hose to prevent splashes, a medium and a long hose. They clip onto the outlets. Obviously you want to flush the black through first and follow it with the grey to flush out any residue.
