I have bought a seasonal water purifying additive for the fresh water system but it doesn’t say anything about lime buildup removal etc

Was thinking of adding some white vinegar before flushing though .

Any ideas or tips ?

An update on this thread regarding use of white wine vinegar. Just got 4 litres from British Hypermarket under £18 shipped.

I put about 3 to 4lt in the tank with about 10-12Lt water, run the hot a hot tap until the boiler is full or vinegar water is coming out. Then run a bit through all the taps. Turn the boiler on hot and leave for hour. Then flush thoroughly especially the cold taps or your tea will taste yucky.
