This weekend were rallying with the Kent Section.of the MCC at Hole Park in Rolvenden, in Kent.

Huge field with water and Elsan. £15 per unit.

Two for one entry into the gardens.

This weekend was about seeing how much gear the Strava 190l box can hold, glad to say a lot which means no need to carry the new airawning, inflatable sofa, table etc in our l2h2 van! Of course to celebrate I took the Ducati out for a ride to explore some country lanes

Went to Okehampton Army Camp to watch Ten tors Challenge kids come in after 35, 45 or 55 mile walks on Dartmoor. Granddaughter did the 35 at age 15 and starts her mock GCSE’S tomorrow. Nightmare getting there and out again with 2,500 competitors and supporters, parents and army.

The Army organise Ten Tors and have Navy Merlin helicopter support for search & rescue, evacuations to hospital. Great credit to the armed forces for doing this for the kids and a terrific experience for them.

Quite a few campers in the car park!

Been laid low since last week with a UTI. Antibiotics not that effective so far.

We're going on the 12th, what crossing are you using and where are you heading?

We’re doing Newhaven/Dieppe and will do some in Normandy and then down through Brittany- nothing set in concrete though so could all change once we get there!
