Mortgage free now for 6 months and retired at age 54 .............. 6 months ago ! Loving life at the mo , amazing feeling being TOTALLY debt free and not working and having a nice income :inlove:

Went to the youth air day at Husbands Bosworth. Yesterday saw a twilight glider aerobatic display like this one . Went back today and Liz went for an aerobatic flight in it like this .
 
We are in sunny warm but a bit windy Kilarney Off to Galway tomorrow.

This weekend we're going to one of our favourite rally venues at Appledore, near Ashford. West Kent DA are running it.

First time taking the van to French France (only got a couple of weeks), not a clue what we're doing, how stuff works over there, or where we're going. Got some ACSI and Aires books, a road atlas and a satnav, which is the extent of our preparation/planning.

What could possibly go wrong... :)
 
We are going to Caen hill locks this weekend. It will be Sabena's first "proper" weekend away in her campervan.
 
I was planning to take the MH to a certain antiques fair popular with 'Bargain Hunt' and run an outdoor pitch. Then I saw the weather forecast, contemplated trying to keep all my treasures safe and dry under an awning canopy on a soggy field in blustery conditions, and thought sod it. I'm doing an indoor event on Sunday anyway, so why make work for oneself? There's always eBay.

Kettering Rugby Club beer and music festival this weekend from Thursday to Sunday. 'er indoors is going somewhere or other, the brat is on a school trip so me and the dogs have a free pass to take the MH there for the weekend :D

Off to a CL near Nottingham to do the final university pick up.....yay. Although have to go back up for graduation in July. Taking the van to fit all the daughters stuff in !!!!!
 
On the train under the Channel on Thursday afternoon so by weekend heading down France somewhere
