What are you up to this weekend?

If we don't get it before, we will be picking up the MH from the dealer early on Saturday morning and heading to Faversham for a South London CC centre rally. There's a classic car show on in Faversham this weekend, normally quite a good display.

Im laughing but also very slightly embarrassed, I've obviously been guilty of shoving stuff to the back of cupboards and forgetting about it.

As my lovely daughter reminded me it's been a while since I had a clear out, 6 years in fact and sent her off to uni with some food basics...she rang home after a few weeks to complain her uni life was not being enhanced by serving her flatmate rice pudding from 1996.

This weekend we are going back to the homeland (Liverpool) to have a get together at our son, James, & his wife's apartment with 2 of my sisters and one of my nephews and his family, I don't see them often enough but that's families for you I suppose. We will see Alan's parents as well over the weekend. Also, James' apartment looks over the cruise terminal in Liverpool and the 3 Queens (Mary 2, Victoria & Elizabeth) will all be in port to celebrate Cunards 175th anniversary - there's lots going on and we can sit and watch from the comfort of the apartment. Sadly won't be taking the MH.
