What are you up to this weekend?

Longleat for 6 nights ( set off tmoz ) then Moreton in Marsh for 3 ( actually eating out in the town for Friday evening meal ) looking forward to it .
Hi PaddyM, whilst you're there, take the time to drive 10 minutes to "Heavans Gate"....a lovely viewpoint on the hill overlooking the Longleat estate...it's on the road to Horningsham past Centre Parcs..there's a free carpark (without restrictions on the left) after you go through the winds and bends. Leave the car/moho in the carpark and walk across the road on the path.....a lovely spot there (all flat walking).

After a few nights in the lakes at the CAMC site near Coniston, swimming and walking, we are off to some back water place in Lincolnshire. I fear for my liver Coolbeanz :drink::wine:

I had thought of a night off grid some were this weekend but I am still not sure we’re we would be able to stay since lockdown. Our favourite spots may have been closed off.
As it turned out I was promised a parcel was to be delivered Friday or Saturday. Daughter was working today so we had to be here.
Our post is in chaos since posty lady went on holiday. We get our post late afternoon. Parcels are delivered when they can fit them in the van. We are on the edge of town not in the outback.
Parcel didn’t appear so some workshop time this afternoon was ok. We will go out in the van for the day tomorrow, perhaps picnic lunch.

It was 12c @ 0700 today with wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful day it is and I'll be making the most of todays 23c max before the scorching weather weekend arrives with temperatures well into the thirties. It will be too hot to do much apart from sitting in the garden with a chilled wine.

Some lovely rain here in Cheshire.
Loading up for our 1st outing in a newly acquired MoHo.
Will be interesting to see what we forget.
Empty fresh water tank as we know water is available on arrival at site in Battlefield.

What are you up to this weekend?

Booked in at Lyndon Top for 3 x nights (Fri - Mon), hoping to cope with the roasting hot weather forecast, whilst under the awning and looking out at the view. A spot of chilled refreshment may well be partaken of. 🍺 😉

Anyone else over that way? If so, pop over and say "Hello".
🙂
Cheers,

Jock. 🙂

CCC THS at Beadnell Northumberland for next 7 nights, very popular this year the DA have an additional field to cope with the numbers also more fw taps have been installed now in in all. Very well organised and run to comply with the CV restrictions and guidelines, feel very safe.

I've been up and down ladders like a yo yo, firstly washing MHome, then trimming laurels and evergreen. Definitely not "resting on my laurels". Jobs done then took Ralf for a walk to river and.... Ralf wanted to go to pub on way back, so no option but to follow the the dog. 🍺🍺🍺 Ready to hit the road again next week. Smudger55

Off to Norfolk on Friday. We booked a pitch for this weekend last February because there was an open air theatre due on Saturday. To our surprise this is going ahead as planned. Also the Pitza van is due to be there on Friday night so that’s tea sorted. I think the pop up shops are open at some point over the weekend.
We have booked a table for a nice lunch in one of the pubs on Sunday to make up for us not going out for our anniversary last month.
On the way home on Monday we are calling at Castle Acre Priory for a look round and a picnic lunch.
Another busy weekend but it will be good to be able to enjoy sharing our retirement now management has packed in work fully.

Picking up new moho tomorrow, then on Saturday off to Salisbury CCC site for the weekend to try it out

Staying home this weekend. Been away last 2 weekends and next weekend will be getting the MH ready to go away for a month touring the UK, should have been France but wasn't to be.
