Staying at Lower Lacon Caravan Park in Wem for the Special Kids UK summer camp. Very wet and windy but a lovely event especially when everyone let the bubbles and coloured smoke off for the kids that have passed. Must admit I had a bit of a cry but luckily I had my sunglasses on so don't think they noticed me.

We'll be heading for a bank holiday weekend at the Thetford C&MC......
Hi T&M, we stayed there a few times when we were moving up from Kent .... lots of interesting wildlife in the forest after dark

Just for interest I'm talking about deer, hares and Nightjars in particular ... what did you think I meant?:Eeek:

Last minute trip to Arran, Islay and points north from Oban. MH going in for a damp repair end of September so our usual trip North is starting a bit earlier than usual and only 3 weeks instead of 6. Any good stopovers?

Off, tomorrow to Greetham Caravan park in Rutland to join about 16 friends for the weekend, hopefully the weather should improve so will need to drink plenty of liquids. :):)

Off to Seaton for a couple of nights. I have to vanquish my demons from a shocking parkrun a few months ago, I was ill at the time, but still need to get a decent run in. Looking forward to some warm weather before I go back to school :(

Raa Sands is on the card for this weekend to try and avoid traveling on the bank holiday, so we'll be here at Veryan nr. Truro for a few more days.
Phil, out and about with Granddaughter No. 2

Finishing off the upgrades on the van while dog sitting at my son's house.

New worktops fitted, new floor laid, new-to-us backbox fitted, which meant fitting a new reversing camera, new T-trim fitted, new chrome interior grab handle fitted + a few other bits.

I still have to remove the dash & bulkhead carpet & fit the sound deadening foam, fit the new radio & speakers, fit the pipework for the cadac cooker recently bought from Neckender, replace the air filter + a few other things I can't quite remember at the moment.

Hoping to finish by Sat evening so I can have a bit of R&R on Sunday as we're away to Center Parcs on Monday, and our eldest daughters teenage boy is really hard work at the moment, 14 yo with rampant 'world revolves around me' syndrome, that should be fun. ??

CAMC site at West Ayton , and trying out my Tyrepal which I fitted today

A few days on site at Thorpe le Soken to explore Essex coast etc.

Heading up to Maryport in Cumbria into the eye of the storm if the weatherman is to be believed.

Having things fitted at Vanbitz so having a pub lunch in Taunton and deciding where to go next on route to wales. ?
