I'm presently sitting in our van watching Young Winston having a small beer and dips whilst wild camping in the BH's office car park In about 30mins we'll be off back home to West Dorset. Therefore this weekend it'll be feet up and relaxing at home for us

Rugby all weekend.

Watching the boy play for Kettering U15s on Sunday.

There might be 1 or 2 beers involved (y)

New (to us, replacement) van hunting, as KN08y sold last night. Thought it would be a pleasure but already it's a right royal Pain ITA. So I know how you're feeling Toots. Plus this all has to fit around watching some big game tonight.........

What I do this weekend really does depend on what happens tonight at the millennium stadium. In the unlikely event of an England win, then I imagine plenty of drinks will be had in celebration. Should they lose, I imagine plenty of drinks will be had while drowning one's sorrows. So whatever happens it will be fun (y)

Weather permitting, we're off again to the local game park for a couple of days.
Just a low key park but with loads of elephant and buffalo plus assorted game.
Best of all, it's a self-drive park so you don't have to sit on the back of a Landrover and go where the driver wants to go.
We were parked up at a waterhole earlier this week, not a lot of animals there - I looked in my rear view mirror to see a 200+ herd of buffalo about to pass either side of us on their way to the water - breathtaking.
We've been there countless times but every visit is magic.
We both consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to experience this place.

Yes. Went in to buy for the grandchildren.

We were lucky enough to live in Moreton for three years in the 1980's with our daughter growing up there.

We love the Cotswolds but couldn't afford the house prices now. Having the M/H allows us to revisit.(y)

As it's Valentines day i will be treating the wife to a lovely weekend (y)

Tomorrow we are going to Braithwaite Fold Bowness-on-Windermere for 3 nights

If all goes to plan we get our new MH in 3/4 weeks time.
We part-exchanged our old one in September when our domestic season ( steam rallies) came to an end so we are really looking forward to getting out and about again.
So now I'm busy batch-cooking, filling the freezer with tubs of food so that when we have a long weekend we grab some tubs to take with us and have proper food while we're away without the fuss of shopping and cooking.
Earlier this week I made Lasagne. Today I've made a huge pot of Chilli, then over the weekend I shall do Chicken Tikka Masala, Spag Bol and Lamb Rogan Josh.
I often wonder how I managed to find time to do this before I retired.
Stef.
