Rally Weymouth Rally, "Bagwell Farm"...

Managed to book Corfe Castle rally,so will combine both,

I notice there is lots of eating,does this mean I don,t have to bring the kitchen sink with me!!!, ?
If I am going to do back yo back rally might need a little help to top up my leisure battery,.

Welcome to the "Motorhomefun" Rally "Bagwell Farm" Weymouth
We hope you enjoy your stay, please join in the "Get Together`s" that have been arranged for your enjoyment.

Monday 15th June, Arrivals Day. Catch up with old friends and make new ones..

Tuesday 16th, Soup & a Roll get together, 1pm, (Two flavours of soup) Please bring a soup bowl Spoon or cup for your soup, Coffee & Tea available or bring your own tipple/drink.

Wednesday 17th, Cheese & Wine get together, 1pm..

Thursday 18th... Mini bus to Portland Bill and Weymouth.. First shuttle leaves site at 10am.. for "Portland Bill"..

Friday 19th.. Evening Fish Bar-B-Q, 6 - 7 pm. Choice of deep fat battered fish or Baked fish and a roll, tea & coffee available or bring your own tipple/drink, Please also bring a Knife and fork and a Plate.

Saturday 20th, (Summer Solstice,). ( Hippy Dressing up, optional).. Sort out those old Wig`s and Plastic Flowers..
Whole Hog Roast with Salad and trimmings and Buttered roll, Tea & Coffee available or bring your own tipple/drink, and a Knife, Fork & Plate. Sing song and music.
Raffle draw.. (Please if possible donate to the raffle)...

Sunday 21st.. Bacon Roll & Coffee & Tea. (Subject to weather there is a "Car Boot Sale" 9am at the entrance to the site.)..

I have been given to understand that a WW2 reinactment group will be camped in the rally field next to us, so hopefully there may be some vehicles to have a look at.. (They are doing a beach landing reinactment on Weymouth Beach on Saturday)

All proceeds from the raffle and donations from this meet will be given to "Julia`s House Hospice for Children"
Hopefully we can get a representative from Julia`s House to come to Norden Farm Rally and on behalf of "Motorhomefun" and hand over a tidy sum.

The Rally field must be clear by mid-day on Monday 22nd June... Whereby a lot of us are going to Jez & Lin`s Dorset Fun Rally at Norden Farm, Corfe Castle.
Any questions on where to go and what to see and do, Please ask.

Any offerings for the various meal`s, Salad etc, I am sure will be gratefully received.
The Tea/Water Urn will be hot from 8am each morning for drinks, let your better half have a lie in..

Wow, I am very excited, I know we only live up the road but wonderful memories of area right back to my childhood when Dad was in the navy and Mum and I would stay in a caravan on the site on the right as you go over the causeway to Portland, I think it's all statics now. Thank you.

Actually ATW I meant to say to you if you advertise your kayaks when you get to Dorset you will sell no trouble. When we advertised our sons Bic Ouassou we could have sold it 6 times over and the local bic kayak shop is at the end of our road.
 
Ok thanks. Hope so as I am really looking forward to getting the new ones. Next week I will ring a couple of kayak shops in Weymouth and arrange some try outs. The Perception Trimph 13 seems to be favourite at the moment.

We are going to have to cancel unfortunately as one of our sons has a place on Camp America and he flies out on friday 19th, we have to get him back from Hull and then get him sorted and back up to Heathrow. Really sorry. Carolyn
 
I have just PMd you as we can't come after all, thought our sons would be sorted out the week before but both are finishing Uni later than they initially said and one is off to Camp America on the friday. Really sorry to mess you about.

Hi(y), from a wet & windy South Wales.
This "Meet" promises to be, at least, a very good one;);). So c'mon you Funsters & fill up the spaces.
You'll be sorry:whistle::whistle:, you know you will, if you miss this one; & Jez and Lyn's the following week:):). An ideal "Meet" for the uninitiated:party2::beerchug::cheers::drink::party2::wine:
 
A bit of information...
As you turn off the B3157, into the campsite, Take the left fork, marked "Private Road"... and NOT the campsite road..
