Hi all, just a quick ask re parking in Weston for a boxer pvc 6m for a quick visit into town, Happy to walk a distance and doesnt have to be free, seafront , anywhere?
Never visited before so no idea ….

No overnight parking, but there’s a car park close to the Winter Gardens for a walk along the front!
 
Not used either but this reads like Locking Road long stay in coach bays is ok for night

You can park on the beach at WSM in a couple of places. I’m fairly sure there’s no access restrictions at the Uphill end of the beach & loads of space. Hard packed surface and safe apart from very high spring tides - Google for details.

Check the tide times if parking on WsM beach. The tide comes on very quickly. Every year someone’s car gets washed in sea water.

Walking in to Weston a bit of a stretch from Uphill, however, You can park on the beach at the WSM end of the golf course stretch too but as someone else has suggested, weekdays, we always find somewhere on the roads around Clarence Park. Weekends may be different.

Yes, but they’re always complete morons that ignore the clearly marked sections defined by the beach warden.

Uphill marina if your staying near weston , its 25 mins walk from weston .

https://cheddarbridge.co.uk/ - cheddar bridge touring park if you wanna travel a bit further out for the night , adults only and a 10 min stroll into the village .
 
Oh and actually Winscombe chippie is way better but not technically in weston so doesnt count :roflmto:.
 
Just wondering if you locals know of any events this weekend 24th 25th June in the weston general area that would be worth visiting. Thinking stuff like fetes shows etc, wander around with the pooch, etc. up for most things..

Take a walk along the dog friendly beach to Uphill, exit the beach and walk towards the marina, great dog friendly cafe, The Boathouse, with doggy menu and doggy icecream and treats.
