Well......he's just spent his pension on a Hymer!

I look on here after kevs been playing or browsing and occasionally do a little bit now and again. Today I thought i might just say what I feel about our next plan! Kev wanted to wait a little for health issues to get hopefully sorted for him and us of course. I decided that after finding out there are friends and family that were being lost at a rate of knotts and of course...people who we listened too when we were in our teens now "going to Jesus" as Kev puts it! To do something and get things sorted once and for all! We have now bought a Hymer T class on a 20 plate and thought ...bugger it!
Kev is still getting over the shock but ...we are looking forward to doing stuff again before (as kev puts it) catching the bus to jesus's cafe!

Love to you all Carolyn...xx:h:
Jesus's cafe, limited menu - bread, fish and wine.

Well done you two. Now spend the time making as many happy memories as you can and hopefully for a long time to come.

Better update your Profile from Nowt! :)

We did the same thing November ‘23 and paid quite a lot for a new Pilote. Lovely and roomy but after having 4 consecutive problems each time we went away I was seriously regretting it! However, our last trip was problem free so fingers crossed all the silly little issues have been resolved!! Enjoy your new home from home and don’t worry about the inheritance, you earned it so enjoy spending it :giggle:

Your's a Pilote, mine a Giottiline, plenty of problems.... I still have 3 or 4 waiting on a solution after 10 months of ownership. But when we are away, enjoying the outdoors and the surroundings - be it mountains or beaches, the problems just seem to pale into insignificance as I pour another glass of wine for my wife and myself and we watch the sunset. Live the day as if it were your last, there is no re-run.

As everyone says - don’t wait, do it now while you can

Always have something to fix after each trip. Mainly trivial bits and bobs but all repairable. Last summer it was puncture which turned out to be the wheel leaking. Cab battery needed replacing and a roof leak. All sorted now . Part of the fun.

HI Carolyn and Kev,

Tell Jesus you've lost your bus pass so can't go just yet. Enjoy your latest purchase and happy adventures.
