I wonder why the bollards have that oddly designed wider lip bolted to the top. Makes it harder to see especially at night. Perhaps the council can unbolt them when they need to get through or to release stuck Mohos. 🤔

The lip was installed after the locals complained the new bollards were not narrow enough and large vehicles were still crossing! The 'add on' was seen as the most cost-effective remedy. Some people still get it wrong, a Renault Clio struggled at the same location as you can see; elsewhere others are just eternally optimistic!
