really its all like a joke . so long as authority know and have it on record it could be a bit of masking tape written in biro.
i have seen lots of american imports done just like that . as over 3.5 ton pickups are hard to get into uk .
even uk vehicles its all a silly joke . some vehicles over 3,500 dont even require ministry plating or testing .
mine does have the manufacturers plate . but wont later on . when i down plate it . i might stamp a baked bean tin as it really is nice taking the mickey .
it really is daft.

Well, you know at least two now Mel.

Email received yesterday from J R Consultancy, confirms that he is able to uprate our plating to 5500kgs GVW.

If I had done it when I first got the "heads up" from @Minxy Girl, I would have saved myself around £60.

SVTech had an opportunity to do business with me a few years ago, but they chose to dismiss the front suspension upgrade done by one of the top companies in that field, ie, Goldschmitt, and instead just wanted to rip me off. They didn't get the opportunity then, and they're certainly not getting the opportunity this time either.

Yes so did I until mine blew off. It was 'chocolate' type silver foil and then secured by sticky back plastic and if you want a replacement from Hymer, it'll cost you €89.00 but postage is included.
