We have been advised to get a a ACSI card to get a discount at a campsite we are hoping to stay at in Spain. We were wondering if someone could direct us to which card ( there appear to be several options ) or perhaps even a link.
Thanks in advance.

We must be in the minority. But we don’t bother with the card anymore. We do most campsites at high season when card doesn’t work. We find using card we it does work sometimes mean you don’t get the pitch you want, only what they choose. You can often get a deal, matching acsi prices if asked, the app, and book are painful to use, and the descriptions of the campsite are laughable due to someone writing it in 1978 then just copy and paste it every year since. They can’t even be bothered to take one photo of each campsite, that according to them, they have been too.

Same here Andy, don't bother any more. It used to offset the cost of hook-up but too many restrictions these days (pitch type, dates, no reservations etc) and we're subject to school vacations periods it doesn't really bring us any benefits. Those lucky enough to travel out of season can get some decent benefits though.

@Land Andy
I tend to agree, whenever we've mentioned ACSI when checking onto sites abroad, in almost all (in fact all that we've used) give you a matching discount.

I suppose its a personal choice, some people, quite rightly, are more comfortable having the card in their possession, others not.
As long as you don't start complaining to friends and foe if the discount is not forthcoming, I don't see the problem. What I would remind ACSI members of is; don't forget its auto renewal, so if like us you've tried it and don't require it any longer you must inform ACSI and cancel before expiry in December.

Yes we've found you often as don't get the nicer pitches and the last place we tried in Interlaken, although in the book and displaying the sign, didn't take ACSI he said as the subscription fees were extortionate. On renewal, we've fallen foul of that and paid again without realising it.
