We all love Dolphins, yes?

TBH the wolf and indian print reminds me of many popular t-shirts and jumpers from a few years ago. If I recall they were rather popular at the time at many market stalls.

Old Aussie is always busy at every motorhome show printing graphics for vans. It's not brave to put them on your van, It doesn't make you a rebel. We all have different tastes, people have a right to decorate their vans or their bodies with art that inspires them. Just as others have a right to giggle at it, if it looks ridiculous to them. Each to their own.

I would have loved to chat with this guy about his inspiration for that artwork, but the few times I passed the van, no one was sat outside it. I just hope it's a good story. Maybe he's an old merchant sailor and one day a Dolphin saved his life, or perhaps he just bought the van with the vinyl on it and hates it:D

Or he/she is mad(y)

We shaped our bit of perspex so it sat under the otherwise useless FIAT centre clip thingy.
Useless FIAT centre clip thing, thats our Satnav holder, our phone clips in there. (holds very well with the case we use). Didn't think of using rear for Perspex though good tip..

and here we are looking for a replacement for the original graphic which had to be removed to fix the dent. Laika no longer make and we don't like the replacement on offer. Will need to have one made, anyone know someone good in East Yorkshire?

But what are you saying?

In English please

"You're bad in several distinct ways - you have a motorhome so some others hate you, you have an Indian decal which is no longer culturally acceptable, and you have a large, divisive decal of animals that we've discovered are maybe not so lovely."

What you mean to say isn't that you didn't understand - of course you did - but that you didn't approve of what I said. That's fine, we don't all need to like each other's tongue in cheek comments.

A bit of an interesting combo. But then I have artwork on my van so am aware that not everything is everyone else's taste. I once had someone stand right in front of my van and tell me 'I wouldn't have that on my van'... Good job it's mine, not yours then, eh!

Ach yer a bunch of boring sods .

Not my cup of tea but if the owner likes it that's cool.

I've quite a few decals ,stickers on mine. Mostly to cover marks left by removing the original 26 year old faded and cracked ones. Others are covering marks left from removing ladder. Bike rack etc.

But the amount of people I get standing behind it looking at the flag ones is unreal 🤣.

And it's always fun listening to Germans and Dutch trying to figure out where sco is.

Personally I think it looks better than it did when I bought it.... but its temporary till.it gets resprayed

I have no problems with go faster stripes or any of the subtle stuff on your van -> I'd do similar myself to ours if allowed by the Misses, who btw, is now warming up to some customisation. I'd actually like to do some wider go faster stripes on ours front to back.

Ditto I have no problems personally with well themed ones, some of the campers at campervan campout had some really good looking designs on theirs.
However it's always a matter of personal taste isn't it, I'm not a fan of the wolf design or the dolphins personally, but I get how some liek them. Just like I never purchased the Wolf T-shirts in their year of fad popularity.

My personal view on taste is if you like it yourself do it, who cares what anyone else thinks.

A friend of ours was looking for inspiration to put some sort of big sticker on the back of his MH. I suggested getting something printed which looked like the inside of the vehicle if you could see through the back wall. So someone travelling behind them would see what would appear to be a MH without any rear wall.

Bet that would cause some consternation behind them.

And just lately we have put a sticker on our MH, under the word Chausson on the top of the rear wall is the sticker below. It fits great between the Chausson word and the high level brake light. Ace of Spades !

What is it with motorhomes and stripes, waves, curls and other wierd sticky gaphics. Even the DVLA want to see them on van conversions. Hate all of them so took as many of fmine as I could. They don't improve any moho as far as I can tell

Without any graphics they look like furniture vans 🤣

Pointless. No one can see them on the top of the van
I have my number plate, in foot high letters, on the roof of my van.
I can be spotted by every overhead gantry, even if the plates are changed.

As a lot of public use vehicles , police , buses ,etc etc

I find the ones on the back more funny, as they usually accompianied by a graphic of said owners with a wine glass in hand.

When overtaking on motorway (we set to 60mph so these motorhomes are doing less than trucks!) and we see Steve & Debby and a graphic (or similar) on the rear of the motorhome we always have a chortle to ourselves at their graphic usually (apologies to all Funsters who do this in advance), as it's the last thing we would want on our motorhome. That said ours is embaressingly dirty at moment and I won't be at all surprised if someone doesn't write Clean Me on the dirt at next weeks rally. (we are cleaning ours the weekend after, as no time before).

This brightened up an otherwise tedious journey to the Tunel last September... :ROFLMAO:

Each to their own, but personally I couldn't think of anything worse.

Cheers
