Water, water, . .

Maybe I'm too clean (the missus too), but I cannot walk out of home or motorhome without having had a shower. It's just impossible.

I think that nobody has mentioned filling stations which often have an outside tap. Ask before filling with diesel.
In France 30-40yrs ago, some of the larger filling stations used to have showers that drivers could pay for.

I shower before bed - keeps the bedding cleaner for longer.

I have a skin condition, consultant said it had been aggravated by too frequent showering, getting rid of all the natural oils, am limitted to 2 a week, but do wash potentially smelly areas. In really warm weather i have a cool shower, just water to refresh.

I too get very dry skin especially my bum and sitting in my chair all day doesn’t help, but I like my showers… also dove body wash practically bought me out in sores although it’s supposed to be ph friendly…🤔

Surprisingly linx body wash is good for me and I’ve tried a lot ….

We have traveled down through France in January and March for about 16 years before covid and never been short of water. We always put enough in the tank for a couple of days only to get us down to near Bordeaux and from then on you could always find water. If you run short then gallon bottles of water were always cheap in France. Back in 2003 we did 6 weeks In January and February travelling down to Isle De Loran then slowly back up the coast stopping only on aires and never ever had a problem. Look for aires attached to leisure centres they always have water turned on.
