Water tanks

For 2 of you, I'd go for 200 litres plus.
I use about 15 litres a day. 1 shower, but switching off, not leave running, and 1 washing up a day.
Your other restriction might be the loo.
I've met big overlanders, but they still have a cassette, as easier to empty.

Your full timing? Im worried about having to fill up constantly!
I've already explained to her we'll have to shower together... Ooh err

How long do you think 125l will last you?

I did some Math. 8lpm shower head for 5 mins a day plus washing up and stuff. I estimate about 45l a day ?
Should last an easy 3-4 days - more if economical with the shower.

I've kind of based my whole van around 4 days of isolation. I have 4 days power (with no charging), big enough fridge for 4 days fresh food, underslung gas and about 135 Litres waste capacity. And a spare toilet cassette :)

Can't see us staying anywhere longer, so seemed a good compromise. Thinking every 4th night, book a site :)

Did you go for those tanks MANGOFORTH ?

Mine arrived today. It's a monster for a van conversion :)

Glad I built the rest of the van so light

Haven't ordered them yet, everythings come to a halt due to lack of funds atm. My car Mots are both next month... Put 4 new tyres on my isuzu, alternator and clutch.. Still need to address the exhaust. ?

But I will be getting them soon ??
They do look pretty beastly!!

Did you get the outlet drilled?

Contact Shaun at barrett tanks. He upgraded my tanks to 80lt fresh and 60lt grey plumbed and fitted, excellent quality and less than £400.
