Cotswold Windrush
Good morning,

I'm new at caravaning and I own a 1981 Cotswold Windrush.
It has a water pump (the system is under the bed) but I cant seem to find the inlet to connect to the Aquaroll.
If you require any photos feel free to let me know,

Thanks a lot

Hi there and welcome

Can you trace the pipe work from the pump to the water inlet socket?

Ps: it could be next to the water outlet under the can , that was often the case around that year of manufacture

Everyone's welcome here but perhaps a caravan forum rather than a motorhome forum is the best place to ask?
Have you seen the replies in your other thread?

Yes, I have but the response was that all 3 outlets is for the waste. I bought the adapters that was advised and it now fits but I think the smaller one is the water inlet however its not working

Thanks, I tried tracing it but got no wiser. I think the water inlet is as in image marked with arrow. is that the case?
If so, I connected the pipe to the Aquaroll but no water is coming through the sink, only a gurgling sound.
Would you know what could be the problem?

If the Aquaroll is emptying the water is obviously going somewhere. After an empty tank has been filled it can take a minute for the running pump to self-prime and air to be purged from the pipes before water flows from taps.

apologies I wasn't clear, the aquaroll is not emptying but a gurgling sound is coming out of the sink

It may be the outlet for the sink , put some water into the sink and see where it comes out.
The water inlet on your Caravan may be behind a flap on the side of it.
Thanks for this idea, just did it. the water is coming out from first outlet.
I checked all sides of the caravan - no flaps or inlets

Sounds like there is loads of air in the system, is the boiler dump valve closed?

Also I believe the arrowed pipe in the photo is the feed from the aqua roll, perhaps you can prime the pump by using the pipe for the aqua roll connected to the van and pour some water into the pipe with a tap open.

I’m clutching at straws but I do believe that inlet is the one

It's doubtful it will have an onboard tank.
Caravan water systems are fed from an aquaroll etc which is the tank.

Thank you all for you kind help and advice. As they say, one problem brings the next.
As to your advice Phill, it started working and the pump finally suck out all the water from the aquaroll BUT it did not go through the sink but rather somewhere underneath the caravan and leaked all along the sides. Would you know what this means?

my word ive googled Cotswold windrush was water even invented when they were built?
