Water Saving Showers

How does that work for shampooing hair?

Just asking.

And the environment 😳
I have very short hair, so either use a washing up bowl round the back of the van or the kitchen sink, either way with a jug of warm water, doesn't need to be hot but definitely not cold. I use shampoo/conditioner combination so only one application. Quick to wash but because its thick can take couple of hours to dry. Usually wash every other day but can last 3 days. Water goes down the plug hole just like it would in the shower.

Washing removes healthy oil and bacteria from your skin, so bathing too often could cause dry, itchy skin and allow bad bacteria to enter through cracked skin. As long as the sweaty bits are cleaned and use deodorant every day I don't see a problem. As for washing hair I have a shaved head so a wet wipe gives it a nice polish 😁 and the wife uses Bapiste dry shampoo.

I use the Ecocamel head , have done since they first came out. It does it good job of making the water pressure and flow rate from a MH / caravan pump feel like a decent amount of water. Plus, use the navy shower method to save water, as mentioned earlier.
