Water Pump Woes- Any ideas? (1 Viewer)

We have a 'Lilie Shurflo Soft' water pump LS H42 - works fine but fairly noisy which is not the problem.

Whenever we move and then park up -when we next use any tap for the first time the pump then has to run for a few minutes to fill the system again - makes no difference if we leave the water pump swith on or off. Once the system is used after that -its fine - no noise/pump running when not in use - no sign of leaks.
Had a look at the on - line manual and can't see anything in the trouble shooting section thats related.
I would have thought the system should stay full? previous vans haven't done this - so guessing something is not right? Any ideas?

I'm guessing your non-return valve for the heating loop is letting water flow back and letting air in? I'm not sure where the valve is though, sorry.

Failed NRV. If you can’t find one to test just fit a new one. Having more than one isn’t a problem.
