I’m a newbie😎 Picked up C’More 17 June 2022
My water pump isn’t working but before I pull out a fuse. I wanted to make sure I am doing it correctly. I think the pump is the last fuse with 7.5 on it. Do I unplug from shore power before touching anything? Do I turn off the system from above the door? The battery is in the Ein/On position. Lights are working and Nav system turns on. Is there anything else I should check before The fuse?

Thank you🤞

In a Hymer check the cutlery drawer if the pump stops!
When our water pump stopped I spent many happy hours chasing voltages and resistance around the cavities of our Hymer Starline 640
I had found the junction block for the various wiring connections from the power supply to the pump and the tap microswitches under the sink in the shower where everything tested OK but I could not find the wire from the kitchen sink tap
Eventually I found another junction block hiding under the kitchen sink where one wire was hanging off
While looking around at the back of the cupboard with a mirror I found a long lost hand whisk, a ladle and various knives and forks
The loose wire must have become detached when one of these items leapt into hiding from the cutlery drawer
Solution: Replace wire then add a 40mm high plastic barrier to the back of the drawer to prevent further cutlery escapes!
All OK since
It would of course be much easier if it was possible to obtain a full wiring diagram for the MH but these seem to be very well guarded, does anyone know where I could find one?

From the amount of posts I've seen from people with submersible pump problems the pump itself would be my first port of call.

Told you so ;)

So, are all submersible pumps controlled by micro switches? If so, is it possible that the problem is that people leave the tap on very slightly which can cause the pump to be running without any water coming out of the tap. I have done this a few times and I don't imagine it can be good for the pump.

Don't have the answer to that one, but from my experience the submersible type are far more prone to failure than the pressure controlled type.
