Water or no water.

We always travel with a full water tank and top it up when ever we can. Can just abot manage for three days (just two of us & 110lt tank). We have had our m'home for 10 years and always drunk from the tank when we just want water to drink. Have toured uk and europe and (touch wood) never had a problem. We flush and clean the tank twice a year and carefull about where we fill up.

always drink from water tank....filtered for tea/coffee....boiled for cooking potatoes, veg, pasta etc...
other than that....wine, lager etc...straight from the tank;)

Always full water and empty grey and black wherever possible. Tank water used for tea/coffee and the dogs drink it if they can't find a muddy puddle (which they prefer, especially if one of them has pissed in it, improves the flavour in their opinion)
Usually bottled water for drinking (mainly actually for taking the squillions of tablets I take these days) though we will sometimes just refill the bottles at a tap if we trust it.

When touring abroad or Scotland we always travelled with a full tank plus a couple of 5 litre bottles for drinking/brew ups. Always topped up whenever. Same with refillable LPG, and sometimes diesel topped up.
In the UK we usually travel half full of water but carry 2 x5 litres of drinking water as there is always somewhere to fill up.
Yea make sure yea top up yer watter tanks tae the brim before crossn border cause watter up here is really really very scarce n yea widnae want tae run oot.

We fill and empty at every opportunity. We drink from the onboard water supply and we’re not dead yet. Prefer wine/beer/whisky to water though.

Tank full before departure, for washing, cooking, & showering, strong coffee for waking up.
Beer & wine is for drinking, I dont know whats wrong with you lot!(y):giggle:

Always set of with 100 litres water as we prefer wild camping and rarely know where we will be stopping.
Never use the water for drinking as l am happy to buy bottled.
Each of us is different as the replies to your questions are showing, whatever you feel happier with (y)

Travel with it full usually, drain it down in the winter.Never cleaned it. Drink from it, don't buy bottled water. So far so good but We're only three years in so it might kill us yet.

When travelling between known camp sites we travel about half full.

If we are “roaming” we travel with a full tank so we are OK for two or three days if we are using Aires/wilding.

Plan ahead ? How much water do you NEED to get where you are going? Know where you can get water, even when wilding, you can always fill at campsites if you get desperate for a shower. We only ever top up when we feel the need for a shower and a bit. It's called planning. Of course it's much easier in Europe.

We usually travel with full fresh water (we have a decent payload allowance) unless we are particularly heavily loaded -- like 200 bottles of wine, for example (not likely post Brexit).
