Its arrived and on charge, I'm impressed that the batteries are replaceable look like two AA or AAA, unlike toohbrushes they seem to be disposable when the batteries go

Mine is on charge too, arrived yesterday. Box not sealed and had been opened but all the bits inside in sealed plastic still. I am going to try it in shower first as recommended by some reviewers who found it took a little while to get the hang of not spraying it everywhere!

They must have changed it or you got a different one. Mine has rechargable batteries that are not replaceable which is why I am surprised it still works after all these years.

I took out a light bulb in my first week. Took it out of my mouth before turning off and it shot water through the bathroom door and hit an incandescent light bulb fitting and the bulb popped and tripped the breaker. Didn't half make me jump. You do get the technique pretty quick though.

All LED light bulbs these days so not that much of a risk :D

Why did you have a light bulb in your mouth that you turned off?

I may have used it a bit too much for first time, my gums feel a little sore. !

All this talk has reminded me of when My dad took me to the airport i was getting us coffee only on returning to the table he was holding out my holdbag to give to me saying that there was something vibrating inside. The look on his face was priceless when I opened the bag and turned the toothbrush off. I Have no idea what he thought it was

That can happen occasionally. I found this when I had minor gum infections. These infections clear themselves up on their own and you generally don't notice them. But the agitation of the pick can cause you to notice them.

I use corsodyl when this happens which helps a lot. I strongly recommend any motorhomer carries this with them in their motorhome.

If you get toothache it can help keep the pain under control while you find your way to a dentist. I am prone to gum infections around the back of my lower wisdom teeth and this stuff sorts it out pretty quickly.

No need....take ‘em out at night, put ‘em on the side. Then,in the morning, run ‘em under the tap and back in a jiffy.

Oh,and when you’re in the pub and need to go for a pee, drop’em in your beer...........that way no bugger will drink you’re beer while you’re in the bog.:rofl::rofl:

Mine has arrived and being charged up I decided to buy the Panasonic.

Yes, I like Corsydol too but at present only have Listerine as where I shopped had it on offer, but it is not as good. I have no problems - I don’t think - but just aware that have not seen dentist this year and not likely to. Would normally have descale and clean twice a year. Plaque build-up is more of a problem but I know that the water flosser will not remove this. The vinegar snd saltwater treatment has made a difference though.

Eucryl smokers toothpaste (powder) knocks back plaque pretty effectively. Used once a week you can keep on top of it.

Sent for one as I want to keep what teeth I have left after radiotherapy 10 years ago as it is proving very difficult to get a lower plate fitted.

My wife used my Waterpik once, and it blew her crown( tooth, not headgear!) out. £45 to put it back in, so we found a cheaper dentist!

There are two settings, high or low, if you feel the high is too much; it does make a good water pistol.

There was a guy in a pub I used to frequent who would put his glass eye in his beer when he went to the gents.
