Picked up our new to us motorhome and away on our first weekend away locally. From looking at the MOT history is hasn’t moved much in the last three years. Getting quite a lot of black bits in the water. I also notice the water inlet pipe is filthy. Can this be cleaned or replaced?

Most plastic hoses are NOT drinking water frendly, especially if it is opulessant as already mentioned The sun (uv) and water are good breeders.
There are many products to clean and refresh this, Again mentioned here go back to basics Lemon ascetic acid in powder ( very cheap to buy) with Bicarbsoda,( also very cheap) will clean and refresh, and it will not harm you.
But, see through pipes and garden hoses are a No No.

The aquatics supplies hoses are all food grade as fish are very susceptible to chemicals.

Try lemon juice its acidity does wonders for all the piping and is organic so it does not kill you if you happen not to clear it all out proprley, used it for years and makes your pipes smell nice to.
Also nice in gin and vodka. 🤣🤣
