Water fill cap difficult to get off

Why is it so difficult to remove the water fill capI unlock it and it just goes around n around until I get mad then it comes off
Any solutions or a special tool? Thanks

Am really tempted by one of these, last time i was way on my own had to fill up through the tank lid under the seat.
It is however John's job to fill up, suspect if i can open the cap easily it might end up being mine.
Just can't open it left handed and have a dodgy right wrist.

You need one, I bought one as I have osteoarthritis in hands and this gadget works great. I won't break the bank either

Sue, I’m left handed so that didn’t help but get one they are very good and come off first time

When my water cap started to get hard to remove just bought a new one now even Denise can remove it I expect the plastic swells with age ?

A replacement cassette is around £100. Worth locking up, though most cassette door locks are pathetic

Press it in when unlocked to twist and remove. Press it to close, then twist and then lock!

If your cap is one of these my GRIPPER will make it much easier to remove. Many funsters have bought them as I’m sure you have now seen by the replies. We are going to the Newbury show if you’re there you can try one. Just search us out.
