I agree with some of the comments thus far,and I got a shock horror moment when I converted our 7.4mtr MH to good old feet & inches.....and its 24 feet .278 inches
But seriously there are some great ideas incorporated in that van, like the shoe store at the entrance, this could be done in any double floor van, but gerry hasnt thought of it yet
The folding table seat over the "china" loo, great idea as ours feels like its gonna crack the lid when I sit on it.
The Truma Aquawater heater was surely the best though as "it gives continuous hot water to shower under" seems so much better to have a seperate water heater, and a seperate room heater, sorry "Furnace"
Black & grey tanks, LPG gennie, 1000 watt pure sine inverter, wi fi, TV and Radio amps,Dometic Roof mounted Air Con,OS BBQ & Shower point, the list goes on & on.
I have to say/ask at this point how do they manage all those toys at that start price. They are using all the makes that our vans use like Truma, Dometic, Aldi, etc, and they can be included.
Its easy to add say20K/30K on top of a German Premium vans standard price, and it still would not have many of those toys fitted.

The American is a Canadian, like the company who make the vehicle.
Needs more garage storage for me, too, but not a bad-looking MH. Good point about the road system generally supporting trailer towing but what if you want to get away from the main routes and off into the boonies?
Yes Martin, we have two underfloor storage lockers in our Carthago, but they get so warm with the underfloor heating, I cant use them for the important stuff like beer & wine, and dried mud from the wellies would get everywhere down there.
That isn't any recommendation .Full marks, looks as good as anything European I've seen.
And a bargain at only about £150,000 for each drawer ....................
Not impressed, cheap nasty steel step that will rust. Stupid great big TV that you are sitting only about 3 - 4 foot from. Lounge looks very uncomfortable, and the swivel passenger seat as good as useless. Furniture looks cheap & nasty, single glazed glass windows with naff blinds.
I had one too...in a 22 foot 1955 Bluebird caravan back in 1968.I'm surprised that pull down wall beds are not used more often in motorhomes. I had not previously heard of them as "Murpy Beds" .. they are not a new invention and my parents had one in a 18' touring caravan in the 1950's.
Yes, I remember one in a Sprite Countryman. same van?I'm surprised that pull down wall beds are not used more often in motorhomes. I had not previously heard of them as "Murpy Beds" .. they are not a new invention and my parents had one in a 18' touring caravan in the 1950's.
No, my parents caravan was a Normandy (ie?) Vermont.Yes, I remember one in a Sprite Countryman. same van?
I agree every van needs slides! Now that Thor are in charge of the German market it may soon be dragged into the 21st CenturyNot impressed, TV that you are sitting only about 3 - 4 foot from.
This version doesn't have a garage but hes just brought a model with a garage he goes to Dusseldorf Caravan Salon show every August to pick up our "European design ideas" to improve his own products. I think he an astute interesting guyI’ve been watching this manufacturer for a couple of years and have to say I am impressed by their product and do believe it oozes quality and actually gives value at its price point, however, storage is the problem despite all the bells and whistles they include they haven’t as yet got the Garage concept.
Thinking about it they have a road system and RV parking whereby space isn’t a problem and put the toys in a trailer, sadly for us.

Yes a visitor picking up tips. He's a fan of clever design.Oh! I’ve not seen him so I presume he goes as a visitor not an exhibiter?
Having watched a lot of North americAm RV stuff I don't think it works the other way. The stage they're at is roller blinds that have bent metal clips on the window surround to stop them flapping away from the wall. And they look esconsed at double glazed windows Upton 18 months ago. So it's no wonder he goes to Europe for ideasIt would seem that the so called new side wall mounted "Murphy Bed"are nothing new in the "classic" caravan era, but I have never heard of one being offered in a MH, other than the one in the opening video from Canada.
I am beginning to think this guy has patented the concept in Canada, well maybe, not sure on that one.
Also whether you like or dislike the overall van being demonstrated, I hope that one day we will see vans being offered over here with some of the included options/ideas at what I think is a reasonable price. Assuming of course we are lucky enough not to have to jump through the import duties & Costs, plus getting any warranty issues covered over here.
Interesting to hear that this guy attends the Caravan Salon every year in Germany, to get some ideas from Europe, lets hope our manufacturers do the same in attending the US & Canadian shows, they would maybe learn something new and refreshing for us to be offered for a change.
