Wanting campervan sleeping longways

Looking for late model campervan with double or 2 single beds sleeping longways.
I’m not sure if you’re looking to buy on here, or wanting recommendations.

If it’s the latter, I can recommend the Autosleeper Sussex Duo. 2 long single beds with a rear lounge, or a huge double. Plenty of storage. Usual facilities (full cooker, fridge, microwave). Fitted gas tanks, gas/electric heating, water etc. Good washroom with shower etc. Air con in cab and habitation.

Good luck with your search.

Please don’t shoot me down in flames but, we like everything about the Campscout except the bed. It’s supposed to be singles but, it’s really a double without the infills, isn’t it? We love our Accent with the double bed left made up and the Campscouts bed is virtually identical, except the length of course, or am I missing something?

Deposit has been put on our Globecar Campscout.

John.

I missed that one John; someone has got one heck of a good van there.

Is the next Globecar meet going to be at your new gaff in Wales :D

Its the ability to have 2 length-ways singles or a transverse double or a mahoooooosive king that you can use either length-ways or transversely which makes it different to the Autocruise Accent (we used to have one) where you can only sleep transversely. We loved our Accent but the ease with which we can get in/out of the Campscout's single beds is why we bought it in the end (we had a Familyscout between them but it only had the transverse bed).

Some friends of ours have an Autosleeper Kingham, lwb, has a doudle French bed. It really is like a tardis, very well thought out layout.

Anyone seen this on Motorhomedepot View attachment 322625
there is something funny with that Van as the door is the wrong side and the decal on the bonnet says Camperscout not Campscout, I suspect someone has fitted a write off Campscout interior to an older van as the mileage is also very high.

John.

Definitely someone's self-build using Globecar Campscout parts - the major giveaway is the fact that the washroom cupboard is on the wrong side and the wrong 'style' for it's new location - the long side you can see is meant to turn 90 degrees to the right and go on the other side of the toilet (ie toilet on left, sink on right as you look at it) also the fridge door has the handle on the wrong side, I'd love to see how the shower tray fits as it is shaped specifically for the normal Campscout layout with the fridge on the left and washroom on the right as you look rearwards.

I wonder if someone should inform Motorhome Depot that they've got a 'ringer'?

Okay, on second thoughts, I've just sent a message to MHDepot about it as I don't want them to sell this as a genuine Globecar to an unsuspecting purchaser!

My Carado T132 has about a 7 foot transverse double bed, so wide in fact it's on a FIAT wide track chassis.

eBay sent me this

Hazelnut, as mentioned on another thread that is NOT a genuine Globecar Campscout (or Camperscout as it says on the front), someone has got hold of the interior of a Globecar Campscout (with the sliding door on the UK offside) and put it into a van with the sliding door on the UK nearside, in effect a self-build/home-build so judge it against other such PVCs, not a Globecar.

Yer I know and u know that but eBay and Motorhomedepot don't seem to care hope someone doesn't get caught out .

I love our Autosleeper Sussex Duo (upgraded Warwick). 2 singles or a huge double. For us the size, layout and facilities could not be better. Worth a look.

I wrote to them about it and it's not on their site now ...
