Chrisboyo introduced us to Burry Port last month. £7 a night, cycling to die for and as a bonus a cafe in town with awesome food at a bargain price.

Hi, I have just looked up Burry Port and it looks great, wonderful beaches. Could you tell me which campsite or CL you used. We are going to spend a couple of weeks in the area - weather permitting.

Basically it is the dock service yard. No frills, just a water pipe. There is a public toilet dump just outside the gate. Go in harbour master's office and pay £7 a day.

Simple camping at it's best -- thanks Chrisboyo !

We take delivery of the new Hobby next week so a good run to Wales to try it out and then we are off to Spain at the end of December. We are looking forward to malaga and a few other warm places!!!

Typically we have nothing much on in October but what we have is two things on the same weekend!!! oh:

An old friend of mine is celebrating her 60th birthday on the Saturday so unless anyone has a Teleport machine a la Star Trek (Beam me up Scottie!!) I can't be in two places at once!! :Sad:

So good news for Jan & Dek as they can have our place on the list. :thumb:
