Hymer 655 Starline
Hi All,
Can't be the first to raise this?
Bristol has a 'clean air zone' The Caravan & Motorhome Club Site lies within.
We have a 2007 B655 Starline, weighs in at 3.8t. This comes in on the 'clean air' as a non-compliant large HGV.
£100.00 per day use in the zone.........including to & from the CAMC site.
Not visiting Bristol now.
Beware.

You can get to the Bath Marina site outside Bath LEZ if you are careful with road planning. From Bath (probably on the road outside site) there are fast and frequent buses into Bristol so you could maybe visit both ?

Won't be an issue soon as CAMC lease expires in December and permission has (finally) been granted for housing on the site

Permission for an alternative camping site nearby, was calledin/rejected by Secretary of State (flooding risk) so Bristol will probably be without any club site for a while.

Knights Folly CL is between Bath and Bristol. Buses right outside.

Convenient CL at Parsonage Farm, Long Ashton. Just outside LEZ and regular bus to Bristol or you could just about walk it - not too far from Baltic Wharf. Added bonus is a couple of pubs near the site and bus route also to Weston-super-mud and Clevedon/Portishead. Alternatively, use CL at Clevedon Golf Club with good bus service to Bristol (about 30 mins). Clevedon and its grade 1 listed pier is a lovely place to spend a day or so.
